Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro Reviews
Display
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro features a larger display of 6.26-inches as compared to Note 5 Pro which had a 5.99-inch display.
Apart from having a bigger display, the latest Note 6 Pro has a notch, unlike Note 5 Pro.
Design
Though Redmi Note 6 Pro is a well-built phone there is no major change in designing as compared to Note 5 Pro. If both the phones are kept together then a person can differentiate only on the basis of bigger display and notch.
Hardware And OS
Xiaomi has retained the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor in the latest smartphone launched. Maybe just to play safe! This is not an old processor but it could have been better. The phone might heat a little on playing games like PUBG.
When it comes to its storage the phone is packed up with 4/6GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage.
It runs on MIUI 10 based on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box which is one of the improved features as compared to its predecessor.
Redmi Note 6 Pro CAMERA- The Saviour
A camera is one of the best features provided in the phone. The smartphone is packed up with 12-MP + 5-MP rear camera and 20-MP + 2-MP front camera.
For the first time, Xiaomi introduced dual front camera in the smartphone.
The camera performs well in outdoor lighting as it has a f/1.9 aperture which helps it pull in more light compared to the Redmi Note 5 Pro.
The camera is not too bad in low light as compared to other smartphones available under this range.
It has a portrait mode which enables editing of the blur levels.
Battery Life
Redmi Note 6 Pro has a 4000mAh battery similar to that of predecessor Redmi Note 5 Pro.
If you are addicted to watching videos, playing games then the battery may drain off quickly as compared to those who just jump off the apps like WhatsApp, Instagram, e-mail, etc.
Verdict
After analyzing all the features and specs we found that Redmi Note 6 Pro is the polished Note 5 Pro as there are no major changes in it.
But still, It has some of the features(camera) which are not available in smartphones of similar range. This makes it one of the best smartphones under Rs. 20,000.
