Samsung Odyssey Z Gaming Notebook sports Core i7 CPU, GTX 1060 graphics
Samsung Odyssey Z Gaming Notebook: Samsung on Tuesday announced the launch of its most recent Odyssey Z gaming-focused laptop at Intel’s launch occasion of the 8th generation Core i7 processor held in Beijing. The gaming notebook includes proprietary Z AeroFlow cooling layout in addition to a Z Blade Blower. It’s reportedly available in select countries – such as South Korea and China – at a Titan Silver colour version starting April.
The Odyssey Z laptop sports a 15.6-inch full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) screen and is powered by an 8th Generation Intel Core i7 chip. The notebook includes up to 16GB DDR4 RAM as much as 1TB NVMe PCIe SSD, and a 6GB DDR5 Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card.
Connectivity on the Samsung Odyssey Z involves a USB Type-C interface, two USB 3.0 interfaces, one USB 2.0 port, an HDMI interface, DC-in plus a headset jack, and a microphone. The webcam has a 720p HD camera, and also the computer keyboard is backlit using a Precision Touchpad. There’s a 54Wh battery under the hood. Moreover, the laptop conveys double 1.5W speakers.
Targeted towards PC players, this laptop includes Crater Keycaps which helps enriches ergonomics of this touchpad that’s currently located on the ideal side of the computer keyboard. A Silent style has also been integrated that permits for fan noise of as low as 22 decibels.
