Reliance Jio Phone has launched free phone in India
The Owner of Reliance Jio Mukesh Ambani unveiled a new product called Reliance Jio Phone. Its a really unique feature phone, because it is the world’s first keypad phone that support 4G VoLTE connection, voice search, ability to play Jio apps like JioTV and JioMusic.

The 4G feature phone will be available at a price tag of Rs. 1,500, which will be refundable after three years on returning the phone. This means Jio phone will be available to all Indians for an effective price of ZERO. The phone comes with Reliance JIO SIM and the company claims voice call on zero charges for 3 years, you can use unlimited data at Rs 153 per month.

Talking about JioPhone features, the device comes with an alphanumeric keypad, 2.4-inch with QVGA display, microSD card slot, torchlight, FM radio. The phone supports voice commands and 22 Indian languages, and has a panic button as well (any JIO user can long press number 5 button and phone will send the emergency message with location to their selected persons). Moreover, the Jio phone will come with advanced NFC support for digital payments that will be rolled out to users via OTA software upgrade.
One disadvantage of this phone is that it doesn’t support Whatsapp application but they use JIOChat. May be in future company will add this feature.
