DJI Spark Drone: Amazing images and stabilized video
DJI launch a new drone called Spark at $499 is the chipset and smallest drone. The spark is smaller than the other GJI MAVIC drone. DJI eyes camera drones like the Mavic Pro become easier and easier to fly. You can also control it without a phone or a controller within 10 feet of yourself. DJI Spark Drone can be AB controlled too if you want to get more distance and you can get a controller to fly it out to more than a mile away at $149.
There is a lot of automation which trickled down from DJI eyes higher-end models. To keep it from crashing this spark has dual GPS an obstacle avoidance sensor. DJI one-upped its competitors with the camera as well by using a two-axis mechanical gimbal for stabilized full HD video and It has 12 MP (1080 x 1920) resolution camera which can fly 15 to 16 minutes which is pretty a long time for something so small. Its top speed of 31 miles per hour.
The Spark’s most compelling feature is the ability to launch and pilot the drone entirely through hand gestures. That advancement makes the Spark DJI’s most beginner-friendly model to date. While previous models could do things like take’s a photo when you made a specific hand gesture, they still needed to be flown with a separate controller. That stands to make the Spark an excellent choice for quick airborne photos, like a selfie stick on steroids.
How its works: You can fly the drone with a complex controller (which DJI will be releasing soon), but you can also fly it with your smartphone, or even just your hands. The sensors on the front of the drone can recognize faces as well as hand gestures. If you put you palm out toward the drone, it’ll register it, and you can then move it around by waving your arm left or right, or up and down, and then land again in your palm easily.
How to start or stop: When you put the drone in your palm you have to press a start button two times then it will start. If you want to stop just set your hand then the drone will land in your palm.
How to take Picture: Take amazing aerial photos using just hand gestures, without a remote controller or mobile device.
