Comio Sells 20,000 Smartphones: Chinese smartphone maker Comio, which entered the smartphone market every month, on Friday said it has offered 20,000 handsets in Twenty days. Comio’s three smartphones — P1, C1, and S1 — went via retail stores in north India and platforms that were the internet, beginning September 5. 65,000 apparatus are handed to distributors, the company claimed.
“We are delighted to have received an overwhelming response for our smartphones in this brief length of time. It has encouraged us to keep moving towards our aim of becoming leaders in the mid-segment category,” said Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, CEO, and Director, COMIO India, in a statement.
COMIO S1 sports a metal unibody design with 5.2-inch HD IPS screen and a fingerprint sensor. It features 8MP shooter, a 13MP camera, and 2,700 mAh battery. Though the P1 smartphone includes a huge 5,000mAh battery also comes in a metal frame with a dual-SIM mobile offering, 5.5-inch HD IPS screen, and a fingerprint sensor. It sports a 13MP rear camera along with 8MP selfie shooter with display flash. COMIO C1 sports 5-inch HD IPS display and a metal framework. It sports 8MP camera with the 5MP front shooter.
The three smartphones, therefore, are 4G VoLTE and also operate with 32GB memory that was internal, to a Quad-core 64 piece Mediatek chipset enabled.
