Fujifilm GFX 50R Medium Format Camera With 51.4-Megapixel Sensor: Now Available In India At A Price Of Rs. 3,69,990
Fujifilm GFX 50R is the new camera launched in India, a few days back. whereas, it was launched in Photokina 2018 in Germany, in the last week of September. The camera is a toned-down version of the GFX 50S, which was unveiled in May 2018.
Fujifilm GFX 50R Camera Features
The new GFX 50R mirrorless camera from Fujifilm consist of a 51.4MP sensor, same as the pricier version. It comes in a fully sealed body for water and dust resistance. Moreover, GFX 50R is the first camera to feature Bluetooth compatibility in the GFX system.
It is the slimmer and lighter version of the GFX 50S. Above that, it is a lot more affordable than the previously launched camera. Most of the features are in common with GFX 50S like a native ISO range of 100 to 12,800, contrast detection autofocus system with 425 AF points, 3fps continuous shooting, full-HD video recording up to 30fps, a 3.2-inch touchscreen display with a 2,360K dot resolution and a weather-sealed body.
Fujifilm GFX 50R is different from the 50S in terms of ergonomics, button layout, and features. The GFX 50R provides the advantage of a drop in weight and size. It weighs 775 grams, 145g lighter than the GFX 50S. The camera uses a GF lens mount, which makes it compatible with seven available Fujifilm GF lenses, ranging from 18mm to 198mm. Its G Format sensor occupies approximately 1.7 times the area of a full-size 35mm sensor which allows more light per pixel.
Along with the recently launched camera, Fujifilm announced two new XF lenses: the XF 8-16mm f/2.8 R LM WR Lens at a price of Rs 1,59,999 and the XF 200mm f/2 OIS WR at a price of Rs 4,79,999 for its X series of mirrorless cameras.
