Casio WSD-F20A Smartwatch runs Wear OS out-of-the-box
Casio WSD-F20A Smartwatch: Japanese watchmaker Casio recently announced the launching of its WSD-F20A smartwatch. The wearable comes with one Indigo Blue colour, and it has bundled accessories such as AC adapter and a proprietary charger cable. The smartwatch is expected to see a launch on May 1, 2018. In terms of pricing, the Casio WSD-F20A will set buyers back by $399 (approximately Rs. 26,000).
Water immunity to the Casio WSD-F20A is promised to be 50 meters, and in addition, it offers MIL-STD-810G standard approval alongside low-temperature immunity as much as -10 degrees Celsius. Sensors around the smartwatch contain an autofocus, air pressure detector, elevation sensor, compass, and gyroscope. Dimensions of this wearable are 61.7×57.7×15.3mm and weight is 90 g (such as wristband). In terms of charging, it sports a magnetic charging terminal which utilises approximately 2 hours for one full charge at room temperature. According to Casio, when in Timepiece style, battery life to the WSD-F20A is believed to last over a month on one charge.
The Casio WSD-F20A can be used with Android mobiles operating Android 4.3 or later, and iPhone versions running iOS 9.0 or later (iPhone 5 and over). Limited functionality can be found on iOS.
Late last month, Casio had unveiled the limited variant WSD-F20SC smartwatch of that just 700 units are thought to be up for grabs once it goes on sale in late June this year. This wearable has comparable specifications in comparison with this WSD-F20A. Moreover, the Casio WSD-F20 was also showcased at CES 2018 as a portion of their organization’s extensive Pro Trek smartwatch lineup.
